Victoria Beckham was one of the honored guests at the Vogue dinner held at the Balthazar restaurant in London on Sunday. Although the slouchy turtleneck vest she wore as a topper was a bit kooky, we didn’t think much else about her outfit because it essentially looked like she was just wearing a plain white shirt with a basic pencil skirt.

That is, until we saw pictures of Victoria Beckham from different angles. That’s definitely not a plain old pencil skirt she’s wearing, but genuine, bonafide, can’t-mistake-them-for-anything-else culottes.

VB actually debuted these very same culottes at her spring 2014 presentation and even sent a few in varying lengths down the runway. The verdict? Fashion critics, commentators, and authorities love them, calling them one of the top highlights of the entire collection.
