How is everyone’s new year so far? All resolutions still being kept? As for us, we’re wrapping up 2013 with this list of top bloggers in their noteworthy pants outfits for December of last year before we start with a clean slate.

Who do you think was the best dressed pants blogger in December?

1. Claire from Canada

Canadian blogger Claire is looking mighty fine in this perfect winter garb. This just proves that one can’t do without the perfect pair of jeans. They’re just great for layering! Claire wore hers with a collared shirt, a sweater, an overcoat, and a pair of boots, achieving a nice balance of preppy and modern.

2. Yu Kuwabara from Japan

Japanese blogger Yu showcased her cute pair of peplum pants. Peplum pants! I haven’t seen one in a while, and it’s nice to see a wintery take to this trend. The plaid print is also very current. Yu took the print play to the next level by wearing it with a striped top.

3. Lucka from Prague, Czech Republic

It’s all in the details. That’s what Lucka’s pants taught us. This leather pair features several interesting details — zips, bands, and a quilted back! We also thought Lucka’s styling was spot-on. The knitted sweater worn with that vest completed a stylish but effortless vibe.

4. Nora from Hungary

There’s nothing like a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans to inject a cool vibe into your outfit. Take it from Nora, who wore her jeans with a printed top and a perforated sweater. To kick the low-key preppy vibe up a notch, she wore them with a pair of oxford shoes and socks.

5. Enocha from California

What are your thoughts on ’70s-inspired boot-legged pants? We don’t often see them come out to play, but when we do, we are astounded by the dozens of ways to style them. Take, for example, Enocha’s pants. We love how modern they look when paired with that boxy cropped top.

6. Blair from Canada

Aside from faded denim pants and ripped jeans, one must also consider finding the perfect gray jeans. They are versatile and easy to pair with other colors! We envy Blair‘s gray jeans find. The jeans kept her outfit minimalistic in its overall aesthetic but still managed to make the individual pieces look striking.

7. Theresa from Hong Kong

If you think overalls are only for the summer season, think again. Theresa’s white overalls look far from summery, especially when she wore them with her polka-dotted top and leopard-printed slip-ons. If it gets even colder, you can easily wear a coat over your shoulders.

8. Hannah from England

It’s hard to love wide-legged pants because they don’t exactly offer the most flattering silhouette. But styled correctly, the result could look like it came straight out of a runway. Hannah did just that with this outfit. Her white pants, which look like a pants version of a skort, are a statement-maker!

9. Maya from Canada

Polka-dot-printed pants, anyone? Maya’s pair works so well on her. It could have easily looked like an ordinary pair of printed pants if not for the blogger’s amazing eye for styling. We love the polka-dot-on-polka-dot print play as well as the pop of red and electric blue colors.

10. Melanie from United States

We love how Melanie didn’t limit her acid-washed jeans to a ’90s styling. She explored various options by wearing them with an interesting bohemian top as well as with a modern coat, boots, and a beanie in the same color.

That about wraps up our 2013. What do you think of our December picks?
