It seems like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Minka Kelly were in tune style-wise on Tuesday. There was something in the air that made the two bombshells both reach for their Rails plaid shirts, flared jeans, square totes, and sandals to run their errands that day.

On Rosie’s to-do list was visiting the spa and doing some shopping. She was able to go straight from relaxing to up-and-running in an easy-to-wear Rails “Hunter” button-down shirt and Frame Denim “Le Skinny” mid-rise flare jeans outfit. Refining her look with designer pieces like brown Tom Ford “Charles” aviator sunglasses, a white Victoria Beckham “Quincy” tote, nude Chloe braided-strap sandals, and a selection of Anita Ko jewelry, Rosie was the vision of casual chic.

Meanwhile, in another part of Los Angeles, Minka Kelly was also checking off things off her errand list in a oddly very similar outfit. Minka had on the Rails “Britt” short-sleeved shirt in the exact same plaid pattern as Rosie’s. She also had on dark-wash flared jeans, brown sunnies, a brown suede shopper tote, and open-toe sandals. While Rosie went for a subtly sophisticated feel, Minka’s look was more effortless, “I just threw this on” chic.

Who do you think looked better in a plaid shirt and flared jeans, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley or Minka Kelly?

Give your skinnies a break and experiment with the dressier vibe that dark-wash flared jeans provide. Rosie and Minka have shown that they look great with plaid shirts, but try them with your favorite tees and loose tank tops as well.
