Being of Filipino descent, Nicole Scherzinger was one of the performers at the Global Filipino Music Festival held at the Hollywood Bowl in California last Sunday evening. It isn’t clear which of her songs she performed, but judging by this street-style-inspired outfit, I’m guessing she did some fun, funky, and dance-y tunes. posted this picture of himself and Nicole Scherzinger on posted this picture of himself and Nicole Scherzinger on Twitter with the caption “Me and @NicoleScherzy at #thehollywoodbowl supporting @apl_de phillipino benefit #thisislove” on July 8, 2012

I know that stagewear is stagewear, but this is ridiculous! This whole ensemble looks like it was put together at the last minute and because of the haphazard styling, Nicole Scherzinger’s poor jeans had to lose one leg. Was it done to make the outfit look funkier and edgier?

As a denim lover, I would say it’s a crime to do these to jeans, especially when they’re as great-looking as those Helmut Lang grain-print skinny jeans on Nicole Scherzinger.

Here are the jeans with both legs intact:

With these jeans costing $220, it would pain me to even hem these jeans, let alone cut its entire left leg off! They also look like they fit great on Nicole Scherzinger, so it’s sad to see that that pair had to be sacrificed for that performance.

You can find these jeans (with both legs) at Amazon.
