Looks like supermom Jessica Alba is just like the rest of us when it comes to taking shortcuts in doing household chores on busy days. The mother-of-two was spotted in Beverly Hills picking up a Le Pain Quotidien lunch for three, which we assume was for her adorable family. The 32-year-old decidedly switched her style up from her usual feminine colors and prints to a more boyishly rugged look (perhaps she reads our articles?) in a white shirt and distressed jeans. To her credit, this wasn’t her first jump on the ripped denim trend.

Jessica zipped herself up into a pair of ripped skinnies from American Eagle Outfitters, which seemed to have more of a relaxed fit on her than the usual tightness of skinny jeans. The actress slipped into her go-to staple white shirt and a very youthful pair of chucks to complete her college girl look. Jessica played up the ruggedness of her ensemble by wrapping a studded belt around her hips and hiding behind a pair of textured wayfarers.

At first glance, we thought this rolled-up denim beauty was a pair of boyfriend jeans and was surprised to find out that it was categorized as skinny jeans. We think these jeans are more relaxed than fitted, which we actually love because they go perfectly well with the rolled hem and ankle-strap shoes trend since not all people can pull off a polished boyfriend jeans look (imagine RiRi’s baggy look). We also love how the little blue patch on one knee does not obnoxiously contrast with the rest of the rips. Contrary to popular belief, there is a delicate side to all this rugged madness.
