Even certified style icons can have some questionable moments on the red carpet.

Take, for example, The Bling Ring actress Emma Watson, who attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards held in London just last week wearing a head-to-toe Balenciaga ensemble.

Quite a lot of fashion critics are scratching their heads trying to figure out what went wrong in Emma’s look.

Considering the pieces separately, the Balenciaga top and pants look fashion-forward as always, but together, they just seemed to swallow up Emma’s small 5ft 4 ¾ (164.5 cm) frame. What do you think?

If she had picked out a more form-fitting top instead of this capelet top, the outfit could’ve worked to her benefit.

All things considered, she did own the whole grunge feel of this couture ensemble, especially with how she worked the harem-inspired high-waist pants.

Even though Emma may have misstyled this one outfit, we still love her chic and sophisticated taste in fashion overall, not to mention that she rocked loose-fitting pants. You can find the latest from the luxury fashion house at Nordstrom.
