British girl group Little Mix, who won The X Factor UK in 2011, is currently busy touring the United States (from May 27 to June 10) to promote their first album, ‘DNA’. They’re hoping to make it big in the US just as they are in their country. Taking into consideration the advice of the boys of One Direction, which is “‘be yourself and you can’t go wrong,” as Leigh-Anne Pinnock mentioned, the girls have gone bold (fashionably speaking), showing their individual styles at every autograph-signing session they attend.

Today we’re going to show you their unique looks, including their footwear choices, of course, as they met fans and signed CDs at the Sunrise Mall in Long Island on May 29.

So, yes, this is how the group typically dresses. It’s like a little mix (pun intended) of everything — loud colors and prints and playful oversized accessories! All four members aren’t afraid to show their styles. It’s a love-hate fashion sense — some may like their styles, but some may not. Anyway, to each his/her own.

Let’s now take a look at them individually, and let us know what you think.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock in Iron Fist “Lamby” Boots

21-year-old Leigh-Anne Pinnock showed off not just her legs but also her tummy in an EducateElevate crop t-shirt and a Miss Selfridge miniskirt in different colors and with tiny pompoms that wiggled as the singer moved. She accessorized with pastel bangles and hoop earrings, and her nails were painted in multiple colors as well! With everything already striking, her boots still turned a lot of heads!

Chunky platform boots are popular, but the design of Leigh-Anne’s boots isn’t easy to match with other ensembles. It’s a good thing her style is loud, so the shoes somehow complemented her outfit. The boots come in dominant coral with white polka-dot and skull prints. A gold-tone charm is also available at the front although it’s somewhat covered by the lace-up fastening. These chunky boots are finished with about 5 3/4 inches of block heels and 2 1/4 inches of platforms.

Jade Thirlwall in Boohoo “Rhianna” Boots

When you see someone sporting an oversized hair bow and a polka-dot outfit, I bet Minnie Mouse comes into your mind. Well, it’s probably Jade Thirlwall’s favorite cartoon character. We usually see Jade with a bow headpiece, but while in the US, she’s been matching it with polka-dot dresses. Here, you’ll see the 20-year-old Jade channeling the Minnie Mouse style with a Dorothy Perkins white bow and a Missguided blue dress with white polka dots. Instead of wearing cute pumps like Minnie, though, she decided to finish her look with a pair of white booties to match her headpiece.

Her Boohoo boots feature an overall white mesh material with a lace-up design, and they’re done in a chunky silhouette, too. They have square toes with hidden platforms and interesting Perspex heels.

Perrie Edwards in Kimchi Blue Shoes

Looking very summery chic, 19-year-old Perrie Edwards seemed like she was set to hit the beach in bright yellow shorts by American Apparel and a white tank top. She looked cute, actually. She also styled with a hippie head accessory by Claire’s and with a variety of necklaces and bracelets. Her shoes complemented her getup well.

The shoes are from Kimchi Blue, and they feature tie-dye canvas showing blue, yellow, and white colors. These sneakers offer a cool-chic look and can surely be worn while strolling around the city.

These platform sneakers are stylish, right? Unfortunately, they’re already sold out!

Jesy Nelson in Topshop “Plague” Heels

Jesy Nelson, who will turn 22 next week, wore head-to-toe Topshop. She picked a black-and-white polka-dot crop tee styled with a flower collar necklace, and she paired this with a Topshop tube skirt. Among the four, she’s the only one who wore a monochrome look.

Completing her rather dark style was a pair of Topshop sandals that seem tough in black and gold. They feature strappy uppers made of premium black leather. Wide ankle cuffs are available with zip fastening at the back for easy wear. What made these heels look tough, aside from their chunky silhouette, are the gold-tone spikes studded along the front and sides. Finishing these sandals are about 1 1/2-inch-tall platforms and 5.5-inch-high block heels.

If you dig the tough style, you may want to grab these heels from Topshop.
