Bleulab Creates Reversible Jeans With Functional Pockets and Two-Way Zippers

LA-based denim design studio Bleulab has created the reversible jeans. Yes, it’s exactly what you would imagine something reversible would look like plus a few more bells and whistles.

For one, both sides of the jeans have functional pockets and two-way zippers, and the seams don’t look all weird.

Two, one side is in a basic blue or gray, while the other side is in a bright color or coated metallic, making the jeans live up to its claim that “it can take you from day-to-night in the blink of an eye.”

Here are a few of the Bleulab reversible jeans (and leggings and shorts) that the Kardashian sisters have already been spotted in while out and about. You can buy them at Amazon.

Reversible jeans are an interesting concept, and I’m surprised that this has only come out now. Maybe there were other denim labels that tried introducing reversible jeans to the market in the past but none ever took off.

Anyway, I like that Bleulab has a “night-to-day” wash and a more subtle “day-to-day” two-way wash for their reversible jeans. For instance, I would wear the gray side of the Bleulab Reversible Detour Legging in bleu lead in the daytime and pair the coated black side with a sparkly top at nighttime, but I would use the Bleulab Reversible Curve 5 pocket legging in alumina if I wanted to be discreet about wearing the same pair of jeans for a few days straight.

The most obvious downside to these jeans is their price. With tags reading between $141.00 up to $216.00, they place Bleulab reversible jeans well in the designer jeans category. Even if you take into consideration that these are two pairs of jeans in one, that still comes out to $70.50 up to over a hundred dollars per side.

If these jeans fit you amazingly, these will definitely be worth the price but may not be for those who just want to try the novelty of a pair of reversible jeans. At one extreme though is Canadian college student Josh Le, who wore a pair of his jeans for 15 months straight.
