Having landed the role of Cereza in the star-studded Robert Rodriguez movie Machete Kills, Vanessa Hudgens was seen making her way to the film’s set in Los Angeles last Wednesday.

Entertainment news websites say that she was there for a photo shoot, and this was what she supposedly wore:

Vanessa Hudgens was seen leaving a studio in Los Angeles on August 1, 2012, styled in Unif Leo zip shorts, a One Teaspoon Vanity lace kimono, accessorized with a Natalie B three-stone saddle ring, a Low Luv X Erin Wasson moonstone ring in gold, Mia Outlaw boots, and Ray-Ban RB2140 Original Wayfarer sunglasses in blackVanessa Hudgens was seen leaving a studio in Los Angeles on August 1, 2012, styled in Unif Leo zip shorts, a One Teaspoon Vanity lace kimono, accessorized with a Natalie B three-stone saddle ring, a Low Luv X Erin Wasson moonstone ring in gold, Mia Outlaw boots, and Ray-Ban RB2140 Original Wayfarer sunglasses in black (Credit: WENN)

However, this was also the same outfit she was wearing before she entered the film set, so, yes, she did go around LA in these too-tiny leopard-print shorts with her butt hanging out.

These cut-way-too-high shorts were everywhere at this year’s Coachella. Vanessa Hudgens is the queen of festival fashion, so it’s not surprising that she wore these shorts as her everyday wear.

High-waisted shorts have been a trend for some time, but it’d be scary to think if that progressed into a high-cut trend! Just look at these same shorts on this model — not even she could save this look:
