Miranda Kerr Loves Her Isabel Marant ‘Marcel’ Tie-Dye Denim Shorts

It wasn’t too long ago that the Victoria’s Secret angel stepped out on the streets in her designer denim shorts for the first time. Isabel Marant surely knows how to whip out a great-looking pair of vintage-style jean shorts that can be easily identified. It has both tie-dye and patchwork designs. Although very rugged looking, it can be worn in different ways.

That’s how the stylish Miranda Kerr wore it twice during the last couple of months. I know you might think that’s a pretty long time in between, but when you’re a top model with tons of clothing to play around with, wearing the same piece could only mean you loved it the first time. Miranda was seen wearing the same shorts in NYC on a date with Orlando Bloom on June 25, 2012.

Let’s check out the Isabel Marant ‘Marcel’ shorts up close. For $224, it is an outright splurge considering the amount of material it took to create it. But well, you pay for the label (that’s what they all say), and you get to wear exactly the same one as your supermodel/celebrity/stylish mom icon wears. Would you consider investing in a pair of tie-dye denim shorts?

Apparently, many decided to splurge on the pricey shorts. The ‘Marcel’ shorts used to be available online at La Garconne, but they have already sold out. Well, consider yourself lucky to have escaped another shopping temptation! Instead, here are three interesting jean shorts that I do recommend!
