I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again — leather pants can be a tad overwhelming. Pile on too many accessories, and you’ll look skanky.

Wear them with the wrong clothes, and you might look like a biker (there is nothing wrong with that if you want to make a statement, but for everyday wear, it is too much).

The trick to wearing leather pants is in Naya Rivera’s outfit for a trip to the Crumbs Bake Shop.

See the color palette? The Glee star kept it minimal. Black leather pants don’t look too austere when paired with a simple white sleeveless button-down top.

You can’t go wrong with the black-and-white combo. When in doubt, go with the basics.

As for the accessories, Naya also kept it simple, opting only for a pair of cat sunnies, earrings, and a ring. The look is classy, too, thanks to adding a leather handbag and Christian Louboutin pumps.
