On November 11, 2016, Adrienne Bailon tied the knot with Israel Houghton at the Hotel Plaza Athenee in Paris, France.
“I genuinely just feel so blessed and grateful. I’ve honestly never been happier in my entire life,” the then 33-year-old The Real co-host and former Cheetah Girls told People.
“I’ve never felt what I feel right now. I can’t even describe what it is, but it’s such a peace mixed with total excitement,” she said.
“I’m so glad we chose such an intimate group of who have shared in our journey and know our hearts and that I honestly feel comfortable crying in front of,” she added. Their 70 guests included Adrienne‘s The Real co-hosts Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housley.
“I didn’t want to invite people I felt I had to put on a performance for. I wanted every moment to be genuine and really special and that’s what it is going to be.”

“I met Adrienne Bailon a bit over 2 years ago, we worked together & became friends,” Houghton wrote on his Facebook page in March 2016 about meeting Adrienne. At the time, she was still engaged to Lenny Santiago.
“Our circles connected & we remained good friends. From a friendship, as two single adults we have very recently begun to explore a dating relationship.”
He continued, “My marriage had been over for quite some time before going public with my divorce announcement.”
After dating for six months, Israel proposed to Adrienne in Paris on August 12, 2016.
