Lauren Conrad has come a long way from being a reality TV star and is now a business mogul.

The American television personality made full use of her education at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising by dabbling in both fashion design and retail merchandising after her reality show stint.

While starring in the American pseudo-reality television series The Hills, she also worked for Teen Vogue and Kelly Cutrone’s PR firm People’s Revolution.

“[Stephaine] Pratt should not have been [hired at Peoples Revolution], but I let her stay there because (a) Lauren wanted to bring her in,” People’s Revolution founder Kelly Cutrone told host Ashleigh Cook in an interview on Artists on Demand Radio.

“I knew Lauren was going to end up firing her, and I thought that would be a really good experience for Lauren [on the show] to learn how to fire somebody,” she added. “I let Pratt work there knowing that she was coming in as the ‘firing experience’ for Lauren.”

In September 2015, Lauren Conrad debuted her Spring 2016 collection – a collection that boasts of frothy layered tulle, a pastel color palette, whimsical lace, and floral-printed textiles. If there’s a collection that really screamed spring, this would be it.

Lauren greeted everyone who attended the show with a huge smile on her face and a fresh white-on-white ensemble from her own collection.

She partnered a high-waisted, wide-legged pair of trousers with a gorgeous cropped lace top. The Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County star elongated her silhouette with a pair of thin-strapped sandals.

Her show was a resounding success. Here are just some of the outfits from her collection:

Lauren’s outfit and her entire collection are not accessible to most people, so we have to contend ourselves with similar finds.
